Welcome to my Wealthy Affiliate review! My name is Kevin from KAZSMoney, and the first thing I am going to tell you is that I am an affiliate of Wealthy Affiliate and that if you click any of my links and then sign-up, I will get a commission. Why did I just tell you this?
Other than there are legal reasons for having an affiliate disclosure, it’s to keep this review honest.
I’m not a fan of giving you unrealistic expectations of success so that I can make more money. Neither will I bring Wealthy Affiliate down so that I can sell my own courses or platforms. I’ve never been a scammer, and I found out at a young age that being honest and helpful will bring more success than faking it to make it.
Trust me, it is much more fulfilling to actually go help people for real. You are a real person reading this post. While I don’t know your name or anything about you (yet), you’re not just another number for me to add to my bank account.
I will simply offer my honest thoughts and opinions after using this platform for more than a year now. It will be up to you whether you like what you see or not.
First, let’s start off with a general summary.

What Is Wealthy Affiliate?
Wealthy Affiliate is an all-in-one online platform combining digital marketing training, website hosting and tools, and a supportive community of internet marketers that can help you within seconds.
What started as a simple keyword list membership site in 2005 has evolved to provide comprehensive tools and services combined with training tutorials and lessons.
Here’s an overview of the different things you can get on Wealthy Affiliate.
- Online Entrepreneur Certification (OEC) – In-depth blogging training for any niche
- Affiliate Bootcamp – Specific pathway to making money in the make money online niche.
- Super Affiliate Challenge – A hyper-charged Affiliate Bootcamp making you into a super affiliate, but has limited access and requires severe dedication.
- Jay’s Weekly Webinars – Depends on what Jay feels like doing. In the past, things like dropshipping, optimizing your blogs, and local marketing agencies have been talked about.
- Community Generated Training – Training on specific topics created by Wealthy Affiliate members themselves.
- And More… – Kyle, Carson and their team are constantly developing more training on the platform to benefit all Wealthy Affiliate members.
- Integrated Website Builder – Create your website fast and easily with Wealthy Affiliate.
- SiteRubix Hosting – Hosting dedicated to optimizing your site without you needing to take any action.
- Site Comments and Feedback – A give and take system allowing you to get comments directly on your website or get other people’s feedback on how to make your website better.
- Jaaxy Keyword Research Tool – Access to the world’s most advanced keyword research tool for free with your Wealthy Affiliate account.
- And More… – Again, Kyle, Carson, and their team are constantly working to upgrade Wealthy Affiliate and maintain its status as the number one platform for affiliate marketers.
Interested in learning more about these aspects in detail? Let’s read on.
The Online Training. Worth Thousands.
Wealthy Affiliate has some of the best affiliate marketing training in the world.
When you first sign-up with Wealthy Affiliate, people will generally direct you to get started with the Online Entrepreneur Certification (OEC), their most popular and the “core” training.
As a starter member, you will be able to get access to the first level out of 5 levels in the OEC. This will get you through the basics of setting up your website and niche and understand a little bit about how you’re going to get people to that website via keywords.
You will also get access to the first phase of the Affiliate Bootcamp and be guided through basically the same thing as the first level of the OEC except more targeted into the make money online niche.
But the training isn’t worth much if you’re just a starter member. You can find that information just about anywhere.
What starts to get interesting is when you upgrade to premium and move past the first few levels. Then you get to learn things like writing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) content, how to monetize a site, build up social media profiles, and most of all, make money off of affiliate marketing.
Here’s a brief inside look on what the OEC is made up of:
The Affiliate Bootcamp is similar to the OEC except that it is focused on building websites in the make money online niche and how to promote Wealthy Affiliate’s fantastic affiliate program which pays about 50% in commission recurringly plus other bonuses.
These skills are still applicable to other niches and products too, and you’re not going to be locked into promoting Wealthy Affiliate for anyone worried.
In the Affiliate Bootcamp, you will get to learn about writing content, building your website, and strengthening your social profiles much like the OEC, but you will also learn about YouTube, PPC Ads, and branding in its 7 phases.
The reason the Affiliate Bootcamp has so much more than the OEC is because Kyle and Carson are experts in the make money online niche. They have also been running Wealthy Affiliate for more than 10 years, so they have all of that experience knowing how to promote the site.
It’s not just the content either, the way Wealthy Affiliate teaches you is why Wealthy Affiliate stands out among others for producing successful affiliate marketers.
Unlike most courses that teach only using videos, Wealthy Affiliate uses both video and words and also gives you a checklist of things that you should do within each lesson.
It’s the small things that matter. This checklist really helps affiliate marketers with no experience to get started. It helps you follow the training and put whatever you learn into action.
It’s like going to school, except you’re learning how to build an online blog for affiliate marketing.
The teachers in school will usually talk for a bit about whatever we’re learning, for example, math. Then they’ll give you homework to do.
Guess who’s the most successful in the class?
The guy or girl that does all the homework and some more.
The OEC and Affiliate Bootcamp work. Follow the training, do the things it tells you to do diligently, and success will come. And if it doesn’t? Ask the community to help you! I’ll talk more about the community later on in the post.
The Missing X-Factors?
Once you finish the OEC, you should be well versed in the affiliate marketing world in terms of blogging. Completing the Affiliate Bootcamp will give you even more knowledge and skills to apply in your business and become successful.
But it’s not everything, and for this review to be the best and most honest review, I have to talk about these things.
The OEC is focused on blogging and content generation. You will not learn things like Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Solo Ads, or anything else other than building your blog out organically through blogging.
The Affiliate Bootcamp has a little bit more. It includes things such as PPC and Bing ads as well as building out a YouTube channel. A bit more, but still not everything.
Once you do finish the two of these trainings, you can often be left wondering what’s next in my path. Usually, you will just continue doing what you have always been doing, writing great content that can help you generate a few thousand per month or more.
But if you want to get further and develop your knowledge, even more, this is where Wealthy Affiliate sort of hits their end.
Sure, there are Weekly Live Classes (and their replays) on the platform done by Jay, another successful Wealthy Affiliate member, who will continue to produce classes to help you develop your site.
There are also community developed trainings where people have created through what they have experienced personally. Some great gold nuggets will teach you more about topics like email marketing, paid ads, and others. Pretty much anything about digital marketing can be found somewhere on Wealthy Affiliate.
The problem is that these trainings do not have the same kind of framework or path that the OEC or the Affiliate Bootcamp has. The content within the extra training is not bad by any means, but it is very easy to get lost in it and lose an understanding of what you should be doing.
So if you want to learn more and improve further than just the Wealthy Affiliate training, there are better courses and training out there to teach you things that are not shown in the OEC or Affiliate Bootcamp.
Another complaint I have with Wealthy Affiliate is that it lacks the self-development coaching that some of my other favorite courses have.
One of the things stopping Wealthy Affiliate from making as many successful members as it should have is because many members quit because they lose track of why they are blogging or why they got started.
Unsuccessful members become inconsistent and don’t reach the levels of success that they should have.
I was in this situation. I was doing so well before, but then I lost track of why I am blogging and building an online business. So I quit writing for a few months.
Once I realized myself again, I came back. I saw success from the effort I put in when I started. And I thought, “If I had spent all those months I lost like my first month at Wealthy Affiliate, I would easily be full-time off of my blog now.”
To succeed with Wealthy Affiliate, you need the motivation and passion for blogging, learning, and building your own business; and Wealthy Affiliate does not emphasize this aspect enough.
Powerful SEO Tool You Get For Free
It’s more than just the training, though.
I was reading up on a few Wealthy Affiliate reviews and going through the negatives and positives, so I can offer an even better review myself, and one of the shocking things I read was, “After you finish the training, there is no reason why you should be paying $49 per month just for hosting.”
Although I will talk about the SiteRubix Hosting platform at Wealthy Affiliate in the next section, $49 per month does not account for just any hosting, it’s some of the best hosting I’ve ever experienced!
And neither is it just hosting either, one of the best things you’re getting from Wealthy Affiliate is one of the most powerful Search Engine Optimization research tools on the market: The Jaaxy Keyword Research Tool.
Typically it will cost you $49 per month to use the pro version of Jaaxy. When you upgrade to premium with Wealthy Affiliate, you will get a Lite version of Jaaxy which is only slightly less potent than the pro version of Jaaxy for free.
That’s absolutely crazy!
You might not get it hearing this from me right now, but using this keyword research tool has allowed me to find relatively undiscovered keywords to write about and get ranked on the first page of Google for multiple pages!
And those posts attract people to my website every day!
It’s quite funny actually because some of my classmates who try to build their “big” organizations and have teams of 10 to 20 people can’t even get their website to be found by Google. They all think I’m cheating or something.
The Wealthy Affiliate OEC and Affiliate Bootcamp will teach you how to use Jaaxy to find the “low-hanging fruit” keywords and how to rank for them on search engines like Google to get people to your website.
The best part is that as a starter member, you will be able to have access to this training. Kyle teaches it within the first phase of both the OEC and Affiliate Bootcamp.
So for whatever reason, if you only wanted to learn how to use Jaaxy to help your site grow, you can get it all for free, forever.
Note that as a starter member, you will get a lesser version of Jaaxy than premium members. This version will only produce limited amounts of searches that you can make and has way less functionality than the one offered to premium members.
I won’t get into too much about Jaaxy, though, as it is an entirely separate company that I will talk about in another review.
SiteRubix Hosting, Simple And Optimized
The hosting that you supposedly shouldn’t pay $49 per month for. There are far cheaper hosting options out there. Some start as low as $2.95 per month, and others average around $10 per month.
But as someone who has tried other options out there, none of them can compare to the experience offered by the SiteRubix hosting here at Wealthy Affiliate.
There are so many good things to be said about SiteRubix hosting that might just make this review much longer than it already is. So I will definitely put up a separate review on SiteRubix alone.
But to generally summarize some of the things SiteRubix provides:
- SiteSpeed. Wealthy Affiliate maximizes your website speed through the click of a button without the use of clunky software or plugins.
- FREE SSL Certificate. Encrypts your website and keeps visitor data safe, making your site much more trustworthy when other sites usually charge to get this done.
- SiteProtect. You no longer need a separate plugin to block spam. Wealthy Affiliate blocks ALL automated comment spam before it even hits your site!
- Site Health. Monitor how well your site is doing and make improvements.
- Site Support. 24/7 Website Technical support to make sure that everything is running smooth and steadily.
- Many more…
I love Wealthy Affiliate’s SiteRubix hosting because of its simplicity and how easy it optimizes your website. Unlike many other hosting plans, Wealthy Affiliate does pretty much everything for me.
Things like speeding up my website, keeping my website safe, and encrypting my site are just so easy! I’ve never experienced the simplicity that Wealthy Affiliate offers.
And not to mention, their Site Support is quite fantastic as well.
I recently had trouble trying to add an “ads.txt” file, and I couldn’t seem to do it. I was adding all of these plugins, looking at YouTube videos, reading other blogs, and for some reason, nothing seemed to work.
I was even asking questions on Wealthy Affiliate and other forums when one of the members told me to create a support ticket to Site Support.
I was amazed at how fast they fixed things. I was scouring the internet for hours (I actually took 2 separate days) and found no results. When Site Support responded, they gave instructions which I applied, and it instantly fixed my problem!
I didn’t even know about how excellent Site Support really was until this happened. Otherwise, I would have just given the, “Oh, it’s just another feature Wealthy Affiliate adds to boost their perceived value.”
But enough about the support, let’s talk about another exclusive feature that Wealthy Affiliate is providing for free.
Wealthy Affiliate and the team behind it has brought us the Kraken Image Optimizer. This is a plugin that gets automatically installed on your SiteRubix website, and it automatically optimizes your images so that you site loads much faster than your competition.
The Kraken Image Optimizer is actually a pretty large company, and it’s renowned for its optimization prowess. Large corporations such as Nvidia and Tesla use it on their own websites, and its technology is proven to speed websites up, giving websites better user engagement and higher rankings.
And it’s one of the reasons that I am really grateful to be a Wealthy Affiliate premium member. I get all of this for free. Wealthy Affiliate premium members get the image optimization software that large corporations such as Nvidia and Tesla use absolutely free of charge.
Just another bonus of being a Wealthy Affiliate member.
Continuous Development By Kyle & Carson
It doesn’t just end with getting the Jaaxy keyword research tool or Kraken Image Optimizer or the SiteRubix Hosting or even the training! Those things are just the beginning, and there are so many more things behind each one of those aspects that I can talk about, and it won’t ever stop!
Because Kyle and Carson are continually working with Wealthy Affiliate members and their technical team to make Wealthy Affiliate even better.
At the time of writing this post, Wealthy Affiliate has been up for 14 years. What started as a “keyword list” has become an all-in-one platform never seen anywhere else.
Over time, things such as website hosting, training, and keyword research tools are all things that have been added, and the price has not changed for the entire time.
Kyle and Carson will likely continue to add value into Wealthy Affiliate without ever changing the price, much like how Costco’s hot dogs have remained the same price.
Having only been in Wealthy Affiliate for a year at the time of writing this, I can’t testify as to the “keyword list” it was before or what kinds of features were missing from Wealthy Affiliate in the past.
But having been a premium member for one year, I’m already seeing all the improvements that Kyle & Carson continually makes on this site.
And they’re transparent about it too!
Over this past year, new things such as earning full-time incomes through the Site Comments platform, the Kraken Image Optimizer, and affiliate program research tools have all been added.
Limited but powerful training opportunities such as the Super Affiliate Challenge (SAC), which is basically a turbocharged version of the Affiliate Bootcamp that is almost guaranteed to make you a successful affiliate marketer promoting Wealthy Affiliate as long as you put in the work, have been added.
And there are so many more things that I have to talk about! This post will be way too long if I talk about everything, but I am happy to respond to any questions or comments about things I didn’t go into detail on much such as the SAC.
It’s a pleasant surprise to see that Wealthy Affiliate gets all of these upgrades at no extra cost to us members. Over time, Kyle and Carson will continually make things better and update us on it.
Hopefully, I’ll be able to keep up and update this review to encompass some of the more substantial changes as much as I can, if not, just leave a comment below, and I will gladly check up on it and respond.
Maybe, just maybe I might have to delete the entire section on “The Missing X-Factors” as Kyle and Carson could potentially improve both the OEC and the Affiliate Bootcamp to encompass all my problems…

An Active Community That Cares
I already talked a lot about how supportive Site Support is, but I haven’t touched much on what is arguably the best part about Wealthy Affiliate, which is its community.
It’s like a whole new social platform similar to Instagram or Facebook, except it’s designed for online bloggers and business builders.
There are so many fun things you can do within Wealthy Affiliate itself.
You can blog on Wealthy Affiliate, comment on other people’s blogs, follow people, like people’s posts, live chat with others, private message other people, create training for other people to see and potentially generate income from it, and more!
And there’s this neat little system that Wealthy Affiliate has which makes interacting within the site very fun and incentivizes others to join in.
Once you join Wealthy Affiliate, you’ll notice a rank, some badges, and network near your profile. Much like how many people want to have thousands or millions of Instagram followers, you can follow and get followers which will appear in your network number.
You can also do things like helping others out to make your ranking go higher. Once you reach the top 200, they will give you a badge, and it will appear on all your comments and others.
If you’re on a whole other level, you can also get an Ambassador badge which is something only a couple Wealthy Affiliate members have.
While these small little things won’t make a tremendous difference in your business, it does make the platform more fun and invokes interaction among people.
The community as a whole is also very supportive and responsive. Almost every question asked will be answered with a decent answer within a few minutes. It isn’t like those crap Facebook groups that I’ve seen where nobody answers each other or helps each other out.
Another thing that Wealthy Affiliate has that many other training programs never have is the participation and support of the creator. Yep, Kyle actually goes on the site every day to help people out!
It is quite amazing what he does. I remember that when I just joined Wealthy Affiliate, Kyle personally gave me tips on choosing a niche and responded pretty quick with an authentic answer to all my messages.
I would honestly be super surprised if the responses I got were through a chatbot.
But even when Kyle isn’t online, there are still plenty of other successful affiliate marketers on the site ready to answer your questions and help you out. Since members come from all over the world, you can pretty much expect help anytime.

Wealthy Affiliate Recap – My Ratings At A Glance + Pricing
Name: Wealthy Affiliate
Owners: Kyle & Carson
Tools Provided: 9.8/10
Price: Starter Member (free), Premium Membership ($49/month, $234/6 months, or $359/year)
Overall KAZSMoney Rating: 9.7/10
I gave Wealthy Affiliate an overall rating of 9.7/10 and I definitely believe it deserves it.
Wealthy Affiliate is constantly being upgraded for the better and I haven’t seen such a platform like it anywhere else.
If it’s so good, it’s bound to charge a premium for its membership, right?
Actually, Wealthy Affiliate is also one of the cheapest services out on the internet as well!
The Starter Membership is absolutely free. You can sign up at Wealthy Affiliate without inputting any credit card details and get a free account on there forever. You are limited as a start member, however, as you can see from this chart:
Premium costs $49 per month, but there are different payment plans as well.
The 6 months payment plan charges you $234 every 6 months which is equivalent to $39 per month. This is a 20% discount that you will be getting.
The yearly plan has the best value as you’ll be charged $359 every years which is equivalent to about $29.92 per month. Less than a dollar per day!
If you’re reading this review and you’re still skeptical about Wealthy Affiliate and whether or not you should join, there is a special offer for you to try it out.
Interested? Let me give you some more details.
You can try out Wealthy Affiliate as a premium member for an entire week for free. You don’t need to enter any credit card details.
This means you’ll get access to almost everything that a premium member would for your first week. The training, Live Chat, and 1-on-1 coaching.
Then if you have tried the platform out, and you like it, we will give you your first month of full premium for only $19!
It was an extremely enticing offer that brought me into Wealthy Affiliate. And I have not regretted my decision ever since.
All-In-One Platform Never Seen Anywhere Else
I can talk about so much more in this honest review of Wealthy Affiliate. Things like Site Comments, Site Feedback, and even the Wealthy Affiliate affiliate program deserve much more attention.
There are things that I haven’t played around with enough either. Trainings such as Jay’s weekly training and the Super Affiliate Challenge are things that I haven’t taken or worked with enough to review.
If you join Wealthy Affiliate, there is no guarantee that you will become successful. Wealthy Affiliate only gives the tools and a pathway.
It’s up to you to use those tools and walk the path.
As of writing this, I am not a millionaire. Nor am I earning enough to live on just my blogs alone. Heck, I haven’t even made $100! But things are changing…
I realized the actions I needed to take and what I must do to achieve the life that I want. I know that there is no course or platform or school that will automatically make me rich, they can only set you up for success.
And I found that Wealthy Affiliate has done the best at setting me up for success.
After a year, I’m seeing people come daily to one of my websites. I’m starting to make daily cents and the occasional dollar online. I’ve learned the process, and things are finally clicking into place.
Things don’t have to take that long for you, though. Depending on the amount of effort that is put in, how seriously you take the training, and some other factors, you can be seeing results within 6 months, 3 months, or even 1 month.
Results will vary, though as other people’s successes are not representative of your own success.
Wealthy Affiliate has everything you need to get rolling, and you can try premium for free for a whole week!
Wealthy Affiliate is beating the competition again. It’s not like any other free trial where you need to enter your credit card details so that they can start charging you after the free trial ends, Wealthy Affiliate requires no credit card details at all in the beginning.
Once your free trial ends, all that will happen is that you will be downgraded to a starter member which costs nothing at all if you don’t upgrade.
If you do decide to upgrade to premium, you will get your first month of premium on a discount for $19, and then it will cost $49 for the other months.
There is a discount if you upgrade to the six months plan or yearly as well. The yearly plan only costs $359 per year, which is less than $1 a day!
Sorry if I’m being redundant, but I really don’t want you to miss this ridiculous offer!
Does Wealthy Affiliate sound too good to be true? Or does it just not interest you at all?
I’m not going to force you to join, but if you do have any concerns or questions regarding Wealthy Affiliate, please leave them down below in the comment section, and I will be happy to help!
